Reston, Virginia, May 10, 2017 – Unissant was today presented the prestigious “Government Project of the Year” award by Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF). Finalists were chosen from a record pool of well qualified applicants by a team of nearly 30 regional business leaders that comprised this year’s Selection Committee. For three years in a row, Unissant has been recognized as a finalist in this award category for various Unissant projects.

The project that Unissant was awarded for was the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Pharmacy Analytics Support Section (PASS). The DHA PASS program supports over 96,000 users at 101 host sites and 800+clinics, supporting 9.5M beneficiaries and averaging 500k outpatient encounters per week. Unissant personnel have received praise and kudos for the PASS program not just from our DHA customers but the knowledge we share with civilian healthcare personnel with whom we share and collaborate on for PTS and Opioid risk prevention.

According Manish Malhotra, President and CEO of Unissant, “The nation is dealing with an Opioid crisis. I am proud of the great work our PASS team in San Antonio is doing to help with this crisis. The substance provide profile program that we have developed is an important step for tracking Opioid abuse.”
