Reston, VA–(28 November, 2017) – Only a few weeks into his new job at Unissant, Executive Vice President and industry veteran Ken Bonner has been named by FedHealthIT magazine as one of 100 leaders recognized for driving change in the Federal Health Information Technology Market.

“We were very excited to bring Ken on board,” said Manish Malhotra, CEO of Unissant. “We knew his experience in Federal Health IT would be a great asset for us, but to have him recognized as a leader in this industry by his peers is a tremendous honor! We’re very proud of him.”

This is Bonner’s second time to receive the honor, which FedHealth IT awards to “individuals recognized for driving change and advancement in the Federal Health Information Technology Market. Nominated and chosen by their peers, some common themes among those who were selected include the desire and willingness to challenge conventional wisdom, to go above and beyond, to drive innovation, and to give back to the larger Federal Health IT and Consulting community.”

Bonner has joined Unissant as their Executive Vice President for Federal Growth and will lead the company’s Federal Growth and Transformation Efforts, building out their BD, Capture & Proposal team. A retired Captain with the United States Air Force, he has over two decades worth of experience in leading growth and operations for Federal Health IT firms, and is actively involved in a number of leading organizations including HIMSS NCA, PSC, and the USAF MSC (United States Air Force Medical Service Corp) Association.
