Unissant, Inc. Awarded FAA eFAST Contract
May 23, 2011, Reston, Virginia – Unissant, Inc. (8a, SDB, CMMI Level 3) has been awarded a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the Federal Aviation Administration’s eFAST (electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks) program. Issued as a Master Ordering Agreement (MOA), eFAST is the FAA’s preferred acquisition vehicle for small business solutions.
Commenting on the contract award, Manish Malhotra, President and CEO of Unissant said, “Unissant is very proud to be supporting the FAA on eFAST. The contract is significant for its scope and breadth. It covers 112 labor categories in four functional areas within the FAA. The functional areas Unissant will support include Computer Systems Support (CSS), Computer/Information Systems Development (CSD), Document and Training (D&T) as well as Business Administration and Management (BAM). eFAST makes a real contribution in flexibility to the process of acquiring services to address technology needs by providing multiple acquisition options such as firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, and time-and-materials.
