Unissant, Inc. selected as part of $20 billion National Institutes of Health Contract

Reston, VA, June 18, 2012 – Unissant, Inc. has been selected by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as an awardee for the agency’s Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

The contract, administered by NIH’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), is a 10-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract valued up to $20 billion for all awardees. The CIO-SP3-SB GWAC is accessible by all government agencies and the Department of Defense.

Under this contract, Unissant will compete for individual task orders from federal agencies to provide a wide range of health IT services. Unissant has been supporting various health IT initiatives across commercial and public sectors for over five years including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Telemedicine, Biomedical Information Systems Support as well as Claims and Payment Fraud Detection.
