Distinguished Tech Leader to Help Guide Northern Virginia’s Innovation Agenda

(Unissant), a leading provider of advanced data, digital, and cyber solutions to federal agencies, is proud to announce that Manish Malhotra, Founder and Executive Chairman, has been elected to the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Board of Directors as part of the Class of 2026.
Malhotra will begin his term on July 1, 2025, joining 20 prominent leaders across the public and private sectors. As part of the Board, he will help shape NVTC’s strategy to position Northern Virginia as a global hub for technology, talent, and innovation.

Since founding Unissant in 2006, Malhotra has guided the company from its early days to becoming a respected mid-tier federal contractor, recognized on the Inc. 5000 list and honored as a 3-time NVTC Tech100 company honoree. With over 30 years of technical and executive leadership, he has made lasting contributions to national security, federal health, and data science initiatives.
An active voice in the technology community, Malhotra serves as a founding member of the George Mason University AI-In-Gov Council and as a Volunteer Board of Advisor to the Border Patrol Foundation. In 2024, he was recognized as an NVTC Tech100 Executive and Engage Federal Health Honoree for his commitment to improving mission outcomes through digital innovation.
Malhotra joins a dynamic board that includes leaders from Attain Enterprises, AWS, Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, SAIC and George Mason University, further underscoring NVTC’s role as the region’s leading technology voice.
