April 15, 2026 –Unissant today announced that Vishal Deshpande, Vice President of AI and Data Solutions at Unissant, has been named a 2026 AI50 honoree by the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). The awards recognize leaders advancing the state of artificial intelligence across the National Capital Region.
The recognition highlights Deshpande’s role in bringing AI into operational use within federal mission environments. He has led the development of Unissant’s AI-enabled Accelerators, a portfolio of mission-ready, reusable capabilities that move emerging technologies from concept to operational deployment. The portfolio is built around real federal workflows and mission pain points, with solutions designed to integrate into existing federal environments.
