RESTON, Va., July, 2026 – Unissant announced today that the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) named Unissant Founder and Chairman Manish Malhotra to a new three-year term on the NVTC Board of Directors. The appointment extends his service with NVTC and keeps him engaged in one of the region’s key networks for technology leaders, government contractors, founders, investors, and public-sector partners working at the intersection of innovation and mission.
Through his leadership at Unissant and as founder of Opulentia Ventures, Malhotra is closely connected to the Northern Virginia technology community. He brings a particular focus on emerging technology, federal modernization, entrepreneurship, and the partnerships that help bring new capabilities into mission environments.
“Northern Virginia has a rare combination of builders, public servants, founders, investors, and mission partners who are willing to work across boundaries,” Malhotra said. “The sense of community is strong. I’m honored to continue serving on the NVTC Board. I look forward to working with its members to support the partnerships, ideas, and companies that keep this technology community moving forward.”
Malhotra brings that same regional perspective to Unissant, where it has been central to the company’s growth and to how it builds partnerships and advances innovation around federal mission needs.
“Manish has always understood our region’s strength is its mix of mission focus, technical depth, and entrepreneurial energy. That’s what makes Northern Virginia such an important place for innovation,” said Sumeet Shrivastava, President and Chief Executive Officer at Unissant. “I’ve seen his long-term commitment to supporting our technology community by building durable partnerships and keeping the work connected to mission outcomes.”
